Importance of Search Engine Optimization
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is as important as content. Writing the content alone doesn't make your blog or website famous. You need to create back links, bookmark, submit to various directories and optimize the web pages. Search Engine Optimization makes it possible for the web pages to appear in higher. Our carahyde website appears in top 10 results for many keywords that are searched in major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and AOL. SEO can also be seen as a business because of its popularity and most of the webmasters and bloggers are looking at optimizing their web pages. Blackhat and Whitehat are two techniques that are also used in popularizing your web pages by creating a page rank instantly, but they are very dangerous as they may lead to banning of your site from search engines. Quality content is also important besides these because whenever a visitor visits a web page, he hopes to see some quality material that will be helpful for them.

Are our search engines efficient?
Earlier, the data present in internet is very limited, so there was no need of a search engine at the beginning. Later as time passed by the data has been increasing exponentially and also the innovations in the internet had lead to new technologies and new data. All this could not be tracked by the human brains, so they started maintaining the records/files of data in enormous size. Later the data size grew too fast hat no one can ever know what the exact amount of data present in internet except from prediction of data. Internet search engines made the humans life easy in finding the required data.

There are three generations in search engines namely, first generation, web search engines 2.0, semantic web search engines. First generation search engines went through all the web pages and displayed the l for any key words used by the user. Web 2.0 search engines like Google the web pages using page rank and back links of various web pages present on the internet. We still don't get satisfying results when we use them because they can't interpret what we are trying to search for precisely. Semantic web search or third generation web search engines are prevalent in this and are going to be deciphering human thoughts and search relative to his thinking and get results. Though these are not available in the market, we are hoping to see them very soon.

Importance of saving search history
In this article, we will be telling what search history is and why it is import. Every internet user does search one time or the other time for some need. I will be talking about Google search primarily. Whenever you search for anything in Google search, they save the searched queries, your navigation, in fact all your moves after that in their web pages. Have you ever wandered there are times when you have searched for same thing more than once and wished to see the previous pages.

Here are good and bad about the saving your search terms and history.
1. When you search for the same time again, just go back and see your results, you don’t need to work again.
2. Google offers recommended web pages that will be useful in getting better results.
3. If you have found the answer and if it is not there in the search results, you can add your own.
4. You can find the trends and activities of you web search and web history making you to understand how you are moving in the internet.
The only down part is, it saves all your privacy, so if you care about privacy then other advantages, turn off the “save search history”.
