The most famous and popular spam mail that you get into your inbox is “You have won a lottery of $2millions or something more”. This had got many preys due to the natural human interest and eagerness in winning a lottery because it is the easiest way to earn money. Though you didn’t leave your email id at some public website, there are chances of getting these spamming mails to your inbox. This is because the spammers try various combinations of the letters, numerical and special characters and mass message to these email ids. The firewalls of email providers are strong enough to protect from certain kind of spam but they couldn’t control these mass messages (I don’t know the reason for this).
Never open a mail of this kind, if you open one email then the spammers get an auto-reply saying that these email ids have looked into these mails and thus they confirm the real existing of an email. From next day onwards, you will get dozens of similar mails, so never ever open such mails. Just ignore them or delete them. You can even create a filter to send these mails directly into the trash box. There are other kind of mails also with similar type and they are also spam emails, so don’t open them.
